Saturday (January 25):

Tommy Halloran's Guerilla Swing CD Release w/ Jeremy Joyce, BrotherFather @ Mad Art Gallery 7 p.m. | $5 Check out our review of Tommy Halloran's Guerilla Swing's latest record, and pick it up at the show! (DH)

Beth Bombara @ Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar 8 p.m. | free Bluesey americana songstress Beth Bombara debuts three new music videos in the basement of Bridge. Local artist David Burnett creates custom viewing stations to check 'em out, and Bombara plays the songs live as well. (MS)

Lucrezio w/ Junior Miss, Summer Osborne @ Foam 9 p.m. | $5 Alternative acoustic duo Lucrezio stops in St. Louis after a full year of touring. Give 'em a warm welcome and have some warming drinks at the bar, too. Learn more about the band via its website. (MS)

Also on Saturday, Railroad Earth plays its quasi-bluegrass at the Pageant.

Sunday (January 26):

Destruction Unit w/ Bug Chaser, Life Like, Self Help @ Melt 8 p.m. | $5 Phoenix's Destruction Unit plays face-melting psych rock with a heavy, noisy bend. Have a listen via this official music video. (MS)

Twista @ The Mad Magician 7 p.m. | $20-$25 Twista, again! I think we are benefiting from St. Louis' close proximity to his hometown Chicago, and I think he is benefiting from St. Louis' fondness for the motor mouthed rapper. In any case, expect a superb show. (DH)

Consider Califone at Off Broadway and Action Bronson at Pop's this evening as well.

Note: Though we wish we could, we can't feature every great show happening in town in just one measly post. Peruse the St. Louis concert calendar for more ideas any time. Let everyone know what else you're looking forward to seeing this weekend in the comments below, and submit show info online any time to be considered for inclusion on these lists.
