It's time once again for St. Louis' second-favorite pantsless activity: the fifth annual No Pants MetroLink Ride.
This year's ride comes Saturday, January 10, one day before the national No Pants Subway Ride, which started with seven riders in New York City in 2002. Riders get on trains around 5:30 p.m. and get off at the afterparty downtown around 6 p.m. (Full schedule below.)
Five years in, St. Louis has developed its own take on this faux-holiday, inviting riders to hop on the MetroLink wherever they wish on the way to an afterparty at the downtown Pi Pizzeria. That means instead of descending upon the MetroLink in one large, bare-legged mass, pantsless riders will join the ride gradually before getting off at the 8th & Pine Blue Line stop.

Other rules remain the same: Get on the train without pants, pretend nothing is different and be kind to anyone who reacts.
If you'd rather ride with other similarly-undressed people, join the group meeting at Kayak's coffee shop. They'll be getting onto the 5:34 p.m. train from the Skinker Blue Line station.
