Andre Brookfield: St. Louis Homicide No. 40; Shot to Death in a Car

St. Louis Metropolitan Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 6000 block of Shulte Avenue in the Walnut Park West neighborhood at 5 p.m. on Sunday. They found Andre Brookfield, a 31-year-old black man, inside a car in an alley on the north side of the block. Brookfield had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have no suspects at this time. They continue to investigate.
