Bao Nguyen, 29, Shot in Head, Found Dead Inside His Car in Hamilton Heights, Cops Say

St. Louis Metropolitan Police have identified the latest homicide victim in the city.

Bao Nguyen, a 29-year-old St. Peters resident, was found inside his car this morning on the 1300 block of Burd Avenue in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood in north St. Louis.

Police say that he suffered gunshot wounds to his head and arm, and as of this writing, officials have no information to offer about any possible suspects or witnesses.

When police arrived at around 6:30 a.m. today, they found him in the driver's seat of his Nissan pick-up truck with the driver's side door ajar, officials say. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Nguyen is the 59th homicide victim in the city of St. Louis this year.

Nguyen lived on the 3000 block of Ridgetop Ct. in St. Peters, metro police say.

Incident: Homicide Location: 1300 block of Burd Date/Times: 7/31/13 @ 06:30 - 06:43 Victim: Bao Nguyen, 29-year old Asian male of the 3000 block of Ridgetop Ct. Suspect(s): Unknown Officers responded to the above address and located the victim inside of his vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. Officers observed the victim sitting in the driver's seat of a Nissan pick-up truck, with the driver's side door ajar. The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his head and arm. The investigation is ongoing.
