So many of the driving scenes caught on video in St. Louis are hilarious or downright ridiculous, but this video is just scary.
Posted to Twitter by Brandon Merano of KSDK, the clip filmed by Cody Gowler shows a small black car with a huge spoiler going the wrong way in the fast lane on I-55 south near Bates yesterday afternoon.
After driving some distance with oncoming cars swerving to avoid it, the driver's luck finally runs out when a large white van swipes the side of his car, sending car parts flying.
KSDK reports that the driver was taken into custody and that an investigation is ongoing, but one look at the video and you’ll think everybody involved is just lucky to be alive at all.
Just the other day someone was filmed driving that same stretch of highway with the hood of their car flipped back and covering their entire windshield.
