ESPN is out with a review of health citations for food at all the nation's pro-sports stadium and arenas.

The bad news: That $6 beer and $5 hot-dog you just ordered may contain moldy ice and rodent droppings.

The good news: Odds are you're safe if you eat stadium fare in St. Louis.

The ESPN report found just 12 percent of Busch Stadium vendors with "critical" violations from health inspectors. At Edwards Jones Dome, 21 percent of vendors had critical violations.
Although "critical" is something of a loaded term -- ESPN notes that Busch Stadium and Edward Jones Dome got the critical violations for not having towels available near a hand-washing sink. Scottrade had zero critical or major violations.

Overall, ESPN found that half the vendors at 28 percent of the nation's stadia had critical citations from health inspectors over the way food is handled and prepared. Kansas City scored particularly high in this category. Fifty-six percent of vendors at Arrowhead Stadium had critical violations. Kauffman Stadium had 62 percent of its vendors with critical citations.
