At 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, 16-year-old James Moore was standing on the 3000 block of Goodfellow Boulevard, waiting for the school bus.

Police say that a masked man then approached the Sumner High School student and shot him multiple times before fleeing in a vehicle. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later spotted and pursued a Dodge Charger that matched the description of the vehicle connected to Moore's killing. One female and two males were taken into custody.

The three suspects are being interviewed to determine what connection, if any, they have to the homicide.
