Lamont Darnell Campbell

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office today filed warrants against Lamont Darnell Campbell, 17, charging him with first-degree murder and armed-criminal action in the killing Sunday of Leonard Gregory III.

Gregory, 29, was shot in the chin and head around 3:20 a.m. July 17 before crashing his Chevy Trailblazer into parked cars on Chariton Street in the Dutchtown South neighborhood.

Campbell, who lives just around the corner from the murder scene, in the 4300 block of California, is currently being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
