The Missouri and Illinois Bi-State chapter of Overeaters Anonymous will host its annual convention this month (March 20-22) in Earth City.

The group is staying at the Holiday Inn Airport West near the corner of Earth City Expressway and Rider Trail Drive. Wish them luck. They'll need it.

The hotel sits in virtual nexus of trans-fat temptations with a McDonald's, Quiznos, Imo's Pizza, Jack 'n the Box, and a Mexican restaurant all just a short waddle away.

The upside? There's also a Dave & Buster's nearby, so the OA's can get some exercise on the skeeball machines should they choose.
