Sarah Palin: This wolf killa is raking in the scrilla!
We've long known that RFT readers are funny. But we had no idea that you're this funny!

Our call for limericks about Sarah Palin, all beginning with the line "There once was a mayor from Wasilla," drew twelve solid entries. And many of them wowed us with their creativity. We honestly didn't realize how many words can be made to rhyme with Wasilla: gorilla, chincilla, even scintilla -- pretty impressive, really. We even got a limerick from RFT regular KITTY!

However, it's only your kid's T-ball league that gives you a trophy just for playing the game. Here are the RFT, we believe in winners and losers -- and we needed to a pick a winner, if only to get these rid of these damned Glenn Beck/Sarah Palin tickets.
So. We hereby decree that the winner is NShelledy, who wrote,

There once was a mayor from Wasilla
A 'copter ridin' gun totin' wolf killa
She looks damn good in red
And not a tear will she shed
So long as she's rakin' in all that scrilla
Our runner-up, the top choice of all the post-modernists on staff, came from @stev0205: "There once was a mayor from Wasilla, and boy, she was fucking stupid." Clever!

NShelledy, we'll be in touch with details about claiming your prize. And trust us, we won't be the least bit upset if you go there to heckle rather than to applaud. But that's totally up to you.
