The homicide happened on the 2100 block of Crescent.

Police say they've arrested 37-year-old Alvertis Harper for murdering Tommy Jones, 34, early Monday.

The fatal shot was fired around 2 a.m. yesterday in the 2100 block of Crescent, just outside the city limits in Hillsdale.

Harper is now facing a second degree murder charge.
