Suspect asked cop, "How do you like that motherf---er?" Not much, turns out.
Well this was an arresting little probable cause statement, released yesterday by the Circuit Attorney:

At about 1 am on November 10, a city cop was rolling in the 4700 block of Newcomb place (in the Lewis Place neighborhood) when he spotted a man in the yard of a vacant house.

The cop called him over to the patrol car, but the man took off running.

So the cop chased after him on foot.

When he caught up with him, the man -- 27-year-old Michael Jerome Henderson of Ferguson -- began punching the officer, and they fell to the ground.

The officer thought he noticed Henderson reaching for something in his hoodie pocket. He feared it was a gun, so he pulled out his own.

Then, the officer reported, this happened:

during the struggle, defendant grabbed the slide of my firearm and attempted with great force to turn the barrel at me. While he was doing so, defendant said words to the effect, "how do you like that mother f_____"?

(Know what? We're pretty sure he said "motherfucker.")

Henderson has been charged with assaulting an officer and resisting arrest, both felonies.
