YouTuber Joins OnlyFans After Getting Death Threats Over Bikini Pics

If you’ve been missing irony in your life, I’ve got a hearty dose of it for you right here. Imagine, if you will, a young woman sharing pictures of herself in a bikini on a mainstream social media platform. The internet loses its collective mind over said young woman daring to display her body in a perfectly appropriate and acceptable way, and shames her right off her platform. “Shame” is a mild word for it, because this young woman was receiving death threats for her bikini posts, and she didn’t just abandon her platform. Her content was so mass reported by trolls that Instagram shut it down, so she took her content to OnlyFans. Ironic? Very, but if you’re going to get punished for existing in a swimsuit, you might as well make sure you’re getting paid for it.

Image from Maddie Joy's reactivated Instagram.

Maddie Joy is a California-based creator whose original platform of choice was YouTube. Her brand early on was built on family friendly content with nothing but wholesome vibes, which made sense when she was a younger creator. She later transitioned to content that was more grown-up. Think things like… lifestyle content that was framed by bikini pictures that she shared on Instagram. Her followers didn’t exactly handle it well. They mass reported her posts, and even sent death threats. After so many reports, her Instagram account was taken down, and she lost that revenue stream. Her audience loved her, but only as long as she stayed “safe.” The moment she showed up as an adult women— not even sharing that kind of adult content— they attacked her with the kind of outrage that is usually reserved for Nickelback.

The bikini that broke the internet wasn’t even anything explicit or salacious. It was just a bikini. No one was throwing a fit over explicit images, it was just bikini pics. Her pearl clutching followers decided that she’d “changed,” and decided to engage in some light mass reporting. Social media is perpetually flooded with images of influencers in swimwear, yet her audience reacted like she was wearing the bikini specifically to an animal shelter to kick kittens. The other influencers are still thriving on Instagram, but Maddie Joy’s profile was removed.

With the loss of one monetized platform, Maddie Joy turned to another one with a reputation for the exact thing the angry mob was accusing her of. She joined the adults-only website in 2020, and still uses it daily as her primary platform and income source. According to her, she’s gained financial independence, a better sense of control over her image, and the kind of creative freedom that only comes when there’s no algorithm to panic over. And in case I haven’t driven home this point just yet: the same crowd that was flipping their brain pancakes over her bikini pics pushed her directly to a platform that was built for her to be able to take the bikini off on camera, if she so chooses. If the ultimate goal of the mass reporting campaign was to get her to back down from sexualization… boy howdy did that ever backfire.

Maddie Joy’s journey from YouTube to OnlyFans isn’t an isolated event. There are plenty of YouTuber OnlyFans creators showing up to share content on a more easily monetizable platform. Tana Mongeau? YouTuber turned OnlyFans creator. Corinna Kopf? YouTuber who makes bank on OnlyFans. Creators leaving ad dependent platforms for subscriber-funded ones shouldn’t really be that big of a shock, since on OnlyFans the relationship they build with their audience is what determines their paycheck, not how many ads get exposed on a viewer’s journey to their channel. It may look like OnlyFans is the backup plan if your mainstream fans revolt, or you get de-monetized, but let’s be real: it’s an upgrade.

Social media has a habit of encouraging young women to be attractive at all moments, but then punishes them the moment they acknowledge that they know they’re hot. Audiences love family friendly content until they find themselves sexually attracted to someone they watched grow up, but then rather than deal with their own internal sticky feelings, they attack the creator who was just… showing up. You have to be confident, but they’ll cut you down if you get too confident. Sexy, but only if it’s approved by your advertisers. On OnlyFans, none of that exists.

Prior to OnlyFans, Maddie Joy was studying dentistry, working, and dealing with a hefty amount of financial stress (and no small amount of anxiety trying to please the audience that drove her monetization on mainstream socials). She’s not exactly flaunting a private jet or anything now, but she’s working consistently and she’s financially independent. Cash isn’t the only appeal, though that’s mighty nice. There’s no brand-safe babysitting, no tiptoeing around an audience that will turn on a dime if they catch themselves feeling all hot and bothered at images of you by the pool, and creators have the kind of direct-to-fan control that other platforms refuse to allow. Imagine the psychological shift alone that comes from not having to appease strangers in order to live off of scraps thrown to you by the algorithm.

If your bikini breaks your fanbase’s brain, maybe the problem wasn’t the bikini: it was the fanbase. If they’re going to call you names for the way you choose to show up— especially when you’re showing up in a manner that is appropriate for non-age-restricted platforms— at least make sure you can send them a bill with an extra surcharge for kink exploration.

  • Bonnie Blue Pregnant? OnlyFans Superstar Sophie Rain Raises an Eyebrow at Viral Adult Entertainer’s Announcement

Bonnie Blue Pregnant? OnlyFans Superstar Sophie Rain Raises an Eyebrow at Viral Adult Entertainer’s Announcement

So Bonnie Blue says she’s pregnant. My pearls are unclutched, but my eyebrows are right up near my hairline, because haven’t heard this song before? This isn’t the first time Blue’s rocked the internet with pregnancy claims, but it is the first time she’s tried to produce receipts confirming it’s real.

It’s been a minute since Bonnie Blue’s done something to raise my ire enough to nudge me towards writing about her, so let’s have a quick refresher on who she is, what rock she scuttled out from under, and why anyone worried about any uterine occupants of hers has valid reason for concern. Bonnie Blue’s an adult content creator, which I obviously have no problem with, but she built her brand on being a viral headline making machine with extreme shock-value based sex stunts, and high body-count publicity moments. Rather than using slow-burn branding, she uses controversy cycles, which she continued to escalate until she found herself permanently banned from OnlyFans. Prior to her ban, her content was getting increasingly more and more extreme, and she was found to have violated the TOS of the platform. Since being banned from her primary source of income, we’ve seen a pattern from Blue: escalate behavior, trend in the news and on social media, monetize, then repeat.

Circling back to her pregnancy claims: this is not the first time she’s indicated that she’s expecting. Her previous “is she? Isn’t she?” pregnancy cycle spiked engagement, so it’s no wonder that people don’t believe her initial claims. However, her current announcement included a positive test reveal, emotional video documentation, and no small debate about her authenticity. The internet currently seems to be caught between concern for Bonnie’s well-being and that of a potential baby, and “here we go again,” as they brace for the next step of her controversy chasing cycle. The lady sticks to a predictable pattern, and her current actions reflect that, but that doesn’t mean that there’s no possibility that there’s a bun in that well-seasoned oven.

When I say that people are skeptical of her, I mean that her fellow adult content creators are calling her out. Sophie Rain publicly told her that she doesn’t have to do everything that she’s doing to make money. Rain is living proof that stability will win out over spectacle every time, as she’s a top earning OnlyFans creator with nary a scandal to her name. Sophie Rain brings in massive earnings with zero shock value stunts, her marketing is consistent, and she’s clear that she’s offering a fantasy with iron-clad boundaries. And sex stunts? She doesn’t know her. Part of Rain’s appeal to her millions of followers is that she’s still a virgin, and shares teaser content, but never anything explicit. Bonnie’s cycle depends on virality that is driven by volatility, whereas Rain maintains a very controlled and mysterious online persona, and makes bank just off of the mystique factor.

Viral fame cycle aside, there’s a bigger issue at play her. Kids are not content, and shouldn’t be used as a gimmick for attention. Pregnancy may be a life event worth sharing and celebrating with the world, but it’s not a marketing rollout, and given Blue’s history of intentionally creating drama and scandal chasing… it’s hard not to look sideways at her announcement. Children shouldn’t be born as a part of a brand strategy. If someone who is already financially stable (Bonnie Blue was a multi-millionaire prior to being banned from OnlyFans), monetizing a pregnancy feels extra sketchy.

TO BE CLEAR: there are several Pregnant OnlyFans creators or OnlyFans creators who are parents who genuinely document and share their pregnancy journeys with their subscribers. However, they approach that decision very differently, and very responsibly. For creators who are sharing actual pregnancies instead of role playing, they aggressively shield the identities of their children. No faces are shared, no names are named, and no minor who can’t legally consent is exploited for content.

I have immense respect for moms who keep it all offline. Kayla Jade kept the mere existence of her children a secret until angry ex-fans found out about them and blasted her online for her motherhood. Emily Mai is another OnlyFans mom who is open about her motherhood, but keeps her kids names and faces offline. She’s open about the fact that they’re why she creates content online, but she doesn’t incorporate them into her marketing. These creators keep their adult branding separate from their parenting life and don’t leverage their children for engagement. These women are visible proof that you can be profitable while still being protective of any children you may have in the course of your life as a content creator. Privacy is possible; it just doesn’t trend.
With Blue’s history, skeptics have valid reason to not believe her this time. I’m not accusing her of lying, just pointing out a pattern that we’ve seen from her before. If she is expecting… I hope everyone is healthy, safe, and that theoretical baby is fully shielded from the spectacle their mother has already created. I also hope that they have early access to the finest therapists, and that their nursery is quieter than the timeline.

  • UKs Ofcom Fines Porn Company for Failure to Comply with Age Verification? Couldn’t be OnlyFans

UKs Ofcom Fines Porn Company for Failure to Comply with Age Verification? Couldn’t be OnlyFans

So Britain has fined a porn company £1.35 million (approx. $1.8 million) for failing to implement proper age verification. Ofcom gave 8579LLC quite the expensive finger wag, but you’ll notice: that’s not OnlyFans. I’d pretend to be shocked, but I’m really just not.

Here’s the quick rundown of the happenings that led to that particular bit of disciplinary action. The UK implemented the Online Safety Act in 2023, and as of July of 2025, sites containing adult content and other potentially risky content have to have what they call “highly effective” age verification in place as a barrier to minors trying to access content that their eyes are too young to safely see. What “highly effective” typically means in age-verification land, is government ID checks, credit card verification, third-party age assurance providers, or some combination of the three. All sites that are accessible in the UK with pornographic content must have this in place, or else Ofcom can fine them up to 10% of global revenue for noncompliance. They also have the power to block sites in the UK, and they’re no longer in the “we’ll give you a lil warning that you need to get your act together” phase. They’re in enforcement mode, and that can get very expensive for sites found not to be in compliance.

Ofcom found that 8579 LLC wasn’t in compliance with highly effective age verification requirements, and fined them £1.35m for not measuring up under the Online Safety Act. Not only that, but they were fined an additional £50,000 for failing to respond properly to information requests from Ofcom, bringing their total penalty amount to £1.4m+. That’s quite the additional financial ouch for dodging a freaking phone call, and trying to skate past with old school “tick box” style age confirmation.

Meanwhile over on OnlyFans, they are on the ball. They require government ID checks for creators, age verification for users that is based on the region they’re logging in from, and facial verification with ongoing compliance monitoring. The platform operates under UK jurisdiction (their parent company is Fenix International Limited, and is based in the UK), and they’ve got years of experience handling scrutiny from regulators, banks, and payment processors. They were ready for this moment because if anyone knows how to handle compliance panic, it’s OnlyFans. The irony is that the platform everyone loves to cast aspersions on is one of the most well-structured and regulated adult platforms operating globally… delicious. They didn’t have to scramble because they’ve been building compliance systems for literal YEARS.

To address one of the elephants in the room: does age verification come with privacy concerns? Yup, sure does. There’s a very real fear of centralized databases of adult site users for many people who log in to enjoy the internet’s favorite spank bank. The risk of data breaches alone is enough to cause people to pause before deciding whether or not the subscription is really worth it. However, OnlyFans’ process is different because they have a closed, subscription-based platform, with a payment-verified ecosystem. There’s no anonymous tube site chaos, and makes compliance without forcing an upload of your passport way easier.

OnlyFans isn’t just on the ball for user ease, although that certainly doesn’t hurt. British OnlyFans creators rely on platform stability in order to do their job and make money. OnlyFans staying on top of compliance means more protection from sudden shutdowns, and then UK-based OnlyFans creators benefit from regulatory clarity instead of being stuck in a legal grey zone. The stricter rules almost seem to strengthen premium creator platforms, where smaller (and lower effort) free sites are going to struggle. OnlyFans is also going to make sure their creators are able to show up, because if they don’t get paid, OnlyFans doesn’t get paid.

Ofcom has proven that they’re serious. That  £1.35m isn’t just symbolic, it’s a financial whallopping. Adult platforms in the UK, you’d better be on your verification game, or be ready to pay up. Take your notes from OnlyFans, and get your act together, otherwise the real scandal here won’t be how you handle age verification, but rather why you insist on being in poor compliance.

  • Wisconsin Gone Wild: Lake Winnebago Opened Their First Legal Bar on the Ice for Sturgeon Season

Wisconsin Gone Wild: Lake Winnebago Opened Their First Legal Bar on the Ice for Sturgeon Season

Wisconsin, we see you getting wild over there, are you ok? And more importantly… why didn’t I get an invite? Lake Winnebago decided that sturgeon spearing season needed a little more spice— without putting the ice at risk, obviously. For the first time ever, there was a full-service cocktail bar on a very frozen Lake Winnebago. For any legal eagles thinking there’s something amiss, this was a legal bar on ice. State-approved chaos, not someone’s drunk uncle with an extra bottle of whiskey in his tackle box.

So here’s what happened. Lake Winnebago is THE go to spot for sturgeon spearing season, so an Oshkosh-based distillery saw their golden opportunity. Sturgeon Spirits decided to take advantage of a 2024 Wisconsin law change that says that alcohol producers can hold a second retail license. The law didn’t specify that the bar has to be on land, and thus the first legal, full-service Wisconsin on-ice bar was born. Cocktails were served a mile offshore, but the place was so slammed that they had to restock from shore.

Full-service cocktail bar opens on frozen Lake Winnebago.

If you’re a non-Midwesterner like me and don’t speak fishing, here’s your quick primer on what sturgeon spearing season is. It’s exactly what it sounds like: an annual winter tradition where thousands of people cut holes in the ice and catch lake sturgeon by spear. It’s a beloved Midwestern tradition that many residents trace back to their Scandinavian roots. Multiple generations participate in the tradition alongside each other, grandparents teaching their grandchildren (and even great-grandchildren) how to spot and spear sturgeon. Tourists plan vacations around the icy pastime, whole cities plan events around ice fishing season. In order to make sure that it’s not putting undo strain on the environment, there are harvest caps on how many fish can be caught, and the season will officially be ended early if limits are reached ahead of the anticipated time.  It’s… well-beloved organized chaos, and that’s before getting alcohol involved on the scene.

Here’s why the bar is kind of a big deal (and more or less inevitable): it’s not a pop-up dive bar, but a fully licensed and inspected operation. There are full cocktails, not just beer cans shoved into snowbanks for chilling. If you’re familiar with Wisconsin… you know that drinking is already happening during ice fishing. The state just made it possible to add a cash register and liability insurance. Basically, Wisconsin did the most Wisconsin thing ever and said “ we put a bar on a frozen lake and made it legal.”

So now that Wisconsin’s broken the ice (you’re welcome) on serving cocktails during sturgeon spearing season, what’s next now that she’s in her slippery slope era? A pop-up laundromat where you win a free session if you find someone else’s lost dryer sock? Ice-based couples counseling sponsored by a whiskey brand? A lakeside co-working space where everyone has to wear Birkenstocks to be admitted? Honestly, someone might even get really crazy, and log in to see what Wisconsin OnlyFans creators are up to. You wanna talk about a crowd who knows how to skate by exactly on the legal side of saucy, those ladies know what’s up.

Wisconsin didn’t ask permission to formalize ice-side cocktails. They just found a loophole and poured bourbon through it. Whether ice fishing is your thing, you’ve got to respect the moxy of the bar owners. We’ll have to stay tuned to see what they come up with for the summer!

  • Israel Celebrates Olympic Attempt: They Didn’t Win, but They Did Indeed Slide

Israel Celebrates Olympic Attempt: They Didn’t Win, but They Did Indeed Slide

Israel made hard tryers everywhere proud (probably) by simply showing up to race in a sport they’ve never competed in before. Did they come in last? Well, yeah. But they did it, and they’re pretty damn proud of themselves.

In case you weren’t glued to your screen for that particular race, here’s what happened. Israel fielded their first ever Olympic bobsled team at the 2026 Winter Olympics in the two-man bobsled event. They finished dead last after two runs. There were no medals, they stood on no podium, and expressed zero confusion about the scoreboard. If you’re scratching your head about why they’re so proud of coming in dead last, here’s why: Israel has essentially zero winter sports infrastructure. There are no domestic bobsled tracks, and no alpine training culture. In order to train, the team had to travel abroad, and work to qualify through the long and very bureaucratic Olympic pathway. They’re claiming that their win here isn’t about final ranking placement, it’s about participating in a sport that they honestly had no business being in in the first place.

Listen, I want to point and laugh as much as you do, but here’s the deal: coming in last place at the Olympics still means that you’re an Olympian, which is more than most of us eating our second bag of potato chips for the day while yelling at the TV screen will ever be able to claim. One doesn’t simply walk into the Olympics and say “Hi, I would like to compete please,” and then sign up for a race like it’s the Turkey Trot. You definitely don’t accidentally end up at the Olympics with a 1,600-pound missile shaped speed vessel on blades. Coming in last in a sport that involves sliding down an ice chute at the kind of speed that makes your lips all flappy is braver than 99.9% of people typing comments on the internet.

If you’re going to choose a place to redefine what ‘success’ is, the Olympics is one hell of a place to do it. These games aren’t just about winning medals (though, that’s got to feel pretty nice), they’re about expanding into new sports, and maintaining friendships with people in countries other than your own. And let’s be real, being bad at something publicly is one of the more important steps towards not being bad at it anymore. Israel joining the bobsled race at all is like being the kid playing catch outside of your older brother’s baseball dugout and getting invited to sit with the team.

If you want to see some Israeli stars who know they’re number one and don’t need a medal to prove it, have I got the idea for you. Israeli OnlyFans creators are so far from last place, it’s unreal. They’re consistent, they adapt quickly when they see something needs a change, and they’re always working to improve their craft. These women have a serious growth mindset when it comes to their approach to the work that they do, their audience engagement is off the charts, and when it comes to ROI for the subscribers who are investing in them, well. It’s OnlyFans, you get what you pay for. The bobsled team finished their last run down the chute and declared last place a victory, but Israeli OnlyFans creators are seriously out here comparing daily feedback and totals so they can make sure that the next day’s content hits harder, and makes more money. One group trained for years to finish last (again, at the freaking Olympics, so still way cooler than I’ll ever be), and the other works relentlessly to climb the rankings, boost subscriptions, and dominate their chosen niches. It turns out that repetition works better than gravity.

To bring the focus fully back to the Olympic team… the situation is a twitch absurd, but I can’t mock them. They represented a country with no winter sports culture in a sport that literally tries to eject you at top speed. That alone is worthy of a slow clap, and a respectful hat tip. Congratulations to the bobsled team for showing up, finishing, and for proudly sliding in last so that future teams can (hopefully) go up from there. Someone had to be first at being last, and Israel claimed the honor for themselves. History books may not remember that Israel won last place, but they sure will remember the moxy it took for them to compete in the first place.

  • Go On, Take the Money and Run: Danish Artist Trips Over the Line Between Artistic Expression and Theft

Go On, Take the Money and Run: Danish Artist Trips Over the Line Between Artistic Expression and Theft

A Danish artist got a commission from a pretty impressive museum, was loaned €77k in cold hard cash to make it happen, then gave the museum two blank canvases titled— you’re not ready for this— Take the Money and Run. The museum wanted a piece that reflected the average working person’s wage, and I guess you could say that Jens Haaning delivered, in a manner of speaking. But like… is this really artistic genius, or just fraud with a pretentious bow tie?

Image from Bloomberg Business Instagram stating "Artist pockets $84,000 from museum and runs, then calls it artwork."

So who exactly is Jens Haaning? This dude’s a Danish conceptual artist who is most well-known for creating art that feels like the kind of math test you don’t want, and can’t study for: art centered around financial reality. He’s famous for using actual money— as in cash— as a medium. His previous pieces showcased the annual incomes of Austria and Denmark using stacks of actual cash, because artists are well known for having plenty of the stuff just laying around. To be honest, he seems to me to be the kind of artist that people mention casually at dinner parties when they want to sound cultured without having to do any actual work.

Which segues nicely to the part of this article where I tell you about why he’s making headlines! The Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Denmark decided to commission Haaning to recreate some of his money-based works representing average incomes. They loaned him the physical cash to make it possible, roughly 500,000 DKK ( think in the ballpark of $76,500 USD). When it was time for Jens Haaning to deliver the goods? He brought two blank canvases titled Take the Money and Run. The museum said “um, excuse you? Where’s the artwork?” Jens Haaning said “That IS the artwork.” The things I would do for just a skosh of his audacity.

The museum insisted that a contract was signed that stated Haaning would be making specific pieces, not to abscond with the money like some sort of B movie bank robber. Haaning claimed that taking the money and skipping out on the actual work was his artwork, as it was supposedly a commentary on labor and value. Conceptual art… well. It’s in the eye of the beholder, but signed agreements are signed agreements, and contract lawyers make bank for a reason.

The museum took Haaning to court, and after two long years in Danish legal limbo, the court said that he had to pay back the cash. Haaning is only allowed to keep his agreed upon fee and expenses, which is essentially the art world version of splitting the bill, so you would think that he’d take the win and scuttle back to his studio. You’d be wrong, however, because he tried to argue that his stunt benefitted the museum due to the press coverage. In the end, the signed contract was louder than his arguments, and he had to pay back the money.

Look, if you’re going to make provocative artistic statements, you have to at least make it worth the audience’s time and money. Should Haaning need an example, might I humbly suggest that he look to Danish OnlyFans creators? With the models creating content for that particular artistic outlet, you know what you’re paying for, and they deliver actual content. That content is typically pretty explicit in nature, and definitely wouldn’t qualify as a blank canvas, and the buyer walks away satisfied with their investment, generally speaking. Is it a completely different kind of artistic expression? Yeah, maybe. But at least no one is trying to bounce with your cash while insisting that the air you were breathing while entering your credit card info was the product.

So where is the line between art, provocation, and fraud? Well, here’s how I see it. Is using art as provocation ok? Yes. Is using art as contractual insurance ok? Not so much. Blank canvas? Overdone. Blank check? Those are strings, little puppet. Note to museums and galleries: when commissioning art, maybe make sure that the only “blank” thing is the canvas, and not the corporate bank account. And for artists… maybe the “real” art was in the contract we signed along the way.

  • The Boy Aquarium Goes to the Olympics: Is This the Year Team USA Bests Canada?

The Boy Aquarium Goes to the Olympics: Is This the Year Team USA Bests Canada?

The boy aquarium has exploded and a tank full of NHL stars has been unleashed on Milan. The USA men’s team has started off strong with a 5-1 win vs Latvia, and they’re now ready to take on Denmark and Germany. Yes, I’m a closet Hockey fan. Yes, it’s partially because men on skates are hot af. Yes, it’s also because there’s something so satisfying about watching fists fly on ice. Deal with it.

    Men's Hockey wins against Latvia 5 - 1.

The USA may be off to a strong start, but Canada is still the favorite. They’re not just here to play along, they utterly crushed Czechia 5-0 early on, and their entire roster is made up of NHL elites, with freaking Macklin Celebrini and Connor McDavid driving offense. Traditionally, Canada’s men’s teams win Olympic gold, so they came to Milan with some pretty big expectations. They have an offensive depth and the kind of disciplined defense that makes them a favorite for people who like to bet money on the outcome of games. Note: this is not me telling you to bet money on Canada’s hockey team. Gambling isn’t my thing, but you do you.

Leaving Canada’s stats for a bit, may I remind you that the USA men’s team dropped 5 goals vs Latvia in their opener? They had puck possession, skating dominance, and a shocking amount of heat for a sport that takes place on the ice (but that may have just been me and my thing for hockey players). Brock Nelson, Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, Auston Matthews… balanced scoring for them, unbalanced swooning for me. Jack and Quinn Hughes both had a multi-score game, showing off their line chemistry, and putting the USA men’s team at the top of Group C early on, tied with another top team on points, and setting up some must win games vs Denmark and Germany to secure a solid knockout berth. This team skates like they’re a constellation in the sky, and they burn just as bright.

In case you were somehow unaware… Olympic hockey is BRUTAL. It’s short, and it’s merciless, with just a couple of wins locking in positioning, and one bad outing can fully end gold medal dreams. The USA still has some must-play preliminary opponents on deck before the knockout rounds get rolling, and Canada’s still rolling in Group A, so a medal path for the USA has the potential to be a brutal path if there’s even a single slip-up. Momentum is the real currency here, and everyone’s got their metaphorical wallet wide open and ready to spend.

Speaking of spending… have you ever wondered how professional athletes fund the grind? I don’t know if you know this, but training the way you have to in order to achieve Olympic glory costs money. Lots of it. Training is expensive, relentless, and for most athletes, it’s unpaid. Between facility rental (especially for athletes who compete on the ice), coaching, traveling, recovery time, and nutrition needs, the costs add up fast. It’s so pricey that some athletes have even begun to rely on OnlyFans to supplement their income with direct fan interaction so that they can afford to keep training full time. If you don’t believe me, go check out what Athlete OnlyFans creators are up to. It’s not gossip, it’s economics, and fans have the capacity to provide real support for athletes who are needing more autonomy over their image, income, and time. For young Olympians, platforms like OnlyFans have the capacity to fund expensive gear, camps, and a chance at being able to show up at all for the games.

The American boy aquarium is buzzing in Milan, Canada’s the early favorite, but the USA is firing on all cylinders and is ready to make some NOISE. I am wishing all of the USA teams the best of luck (not just hockey… women’s speed racing’s also on my radar). Remember: root hard, celebrate fully, and if it’s your thing… support them financially.

  • Is it Worth the Risk? OnlyFans Creator Sophie Rain Shares $101 Million Receipts, While Cautioning Aspiring Content Creators to Weigh the Cost of the Business

Is it Worth the Risk? OnlyFans Creator Sophie Rain Shares $101 Million Receipts, While Cautioning Aspiring Content Creators to Weigh the Cost of the Business

The internet loves to call a successful woman a liar, which is why Sophie Rain spoke the algorithm’s native tongue in her clapback: receipts. The wildly successful OnlyFans creator recently shared that she’s hit $101 million in earnings from her OnlyFans page, but then, in her flex video proving to her naysayers that she isn’t lying, she warned other would-be teen creators that it isn’t “easy money.” Nothing makes the internet angrier than a financially successful woman… except maybe a financially successful woman who’s a girl’s girl.

    Sophie Rain Shares the Receipts
    Sophie Rain shares the receipts.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the facts: Sophie Rain is a Florida born and raised OnlyFans creator and viral social media influencer who found almost immediate success on the adults-only platform without caving to pressure to bang someone on camera. Her latest big money claim is that she’s broken the $100 million milestone due to OnlyFans, and shared her dashboard in video showing roughly $101,209,778.70 gross from her time on the platform. Quick reminder for those who don’t speak money: ‘gross revenue’ isn’t take-home pay, but Rain’s gross revenue is still a number that is high enough to make accountants need a minute to catch their breath. In 2024, she made headlines in mainstream entertainment outlets for reported earnings of $43 million, and that bottom line has clearly only continued to grow rapidly. However, her results are far from typical, and people who are new to the industry should not anticipate the same outcome.

Sophie Rain was incredibly smart about how she built her following. She gained attention on mainstream channels first, and then managed to direct that audience towards OnlyFans where they had to pay a subscription fee for access. Attention turned into conversion that she built on consistently, and that’s basically her whole formula for success. She’s also unique in OnlyFans land in that she’s a devout Christian, and claims to be saving her virginity for marriage. She has never had sex on camera, and most of her content can be described as “steamy” rather than spicy, and yet her followers love the tease and can’t seem to get enough of it. Did she get lucky with how popular she became so fast? Yes, but she  also did the work to build a funnel so that she would be able to capitalize on her audience as soon as they showed up.

As always happens with Rain, skeptics have been raising eyebrows at her financial claims, not believing that it’s possible that a woman as young as she is could possibly make that much money on a digital platform. Sophie did what Sophie does, and essentially said “here, look at my dashboard, see for yourself,” and showed the receipts. She shared a video on Instagram where she shows her OnlyFans dashboard, and even refreshes it multiple times so that the audience can see her onscreen gross earnings figures for themselves. Regardless of your feelings on Rain and her line of work, she’s absolutely become the poster child for the top 0.1% of creators on the platform.

Her clap-back video, however, wasn’t all celebrating her success. Rain got her start as a Teen OnlyFans creator, and many newly legal teens who would follow in her footsteps perceive what she does as “easy money.” Sophie makes it very clear that that is not the case, and warns people that her results aren’t typical, and not to assume they’ll hit the same numbers she has. Most people don’t, and that level of visibility comes with a very heavy cost that most teenagers— yes, even those who have crossed the threshold into legal adulthood— lack the age and experience to comprehend. OnlyFans content leaves a permanent digital footprint that can never fully be undone, especially once you factor in the risk of your content being stolen from the platform. Doxxing, harassment, and unwanted attention from obsessed fans (or haters) is another very real risk, as is the possibility of familial or future employment blowback. Money management is a problem that many younger creators don’t know how to tackle, as is the pressure to escalate the intensity of your content in order to compete with other creators for audience attention. The internet pushes a “get rich quick” fantasy, but the minute someone does, it’s ready to punish them for cashing the check.

To make one thing clear, the Teen OnlyFans creators who are taking a shot at following in Sophie’s footsteps are all 18 – 19 year old adults, not minors. OnlyFans is 18+, and is very strict about verifying the ages of the creators sharing content there. There are many successful Teen OnlyFans creators and even Free Teen OnlyFans creators who make a decent amount of money from the content that they create and share, and no shade to these young women for collecting the money on the table for what they’re offering!

The issue that Sophie is cautioning against is getting into OnlyFans believing that it’s a free ticket to a life of wealth without understanding the hidden costs associated with it, especially if you’re a young adult whose brain is still developing. If your plan for making money on OnlyFans involves crossing your fingers for virality while simultaneously hoping that strangers who don’t know you behave themselves online, then you need a business plan that is actually a business plan. I’m all for young women getting their bag, but I’m with Sophie on this one, and the fantasy math needs to go. Get after that money, just don’t confuse one lucky woman’s jackpot with a guaranteed paycheck.

  • It’s Almost Valentine’s Day, Do You Know Your State’s Fetish?

It’s Almost Valentine’s Day, Do You Know Your State’s Fetish?

We are in the season of love. That beautiful time when lovers everywhere are reminded just how lucky they are to have one another while grocery stores sell “bare minimum” bouquets of flowers like hot cakes. Couples (and throuples… we don’t judge here) are all coming up with ways to show their special someone just how much they love them, and for lovers with a fetish? It’s time to shine.

Let’s be so for real, those of us concocting Valentine’s Day plans and surprises are doing so with the hope of getting laid that night. Odds are that if your partner has a fetish you’re aware of, you’re making some plans that allow you to incorporate said fetish into your bedroom play on Valentine’s Day. Do you know what your partner’s fetish is? If not, hello. Please ask them, as communicating about needs and desires for your bedroom play is an important part of any adult relationship.

However, if you’re just curious about fetishes in general, Clips4Sale has done the legwork to break down which fetishes are most popular from state to state. Does your fetish align with the general freaky interests of the rest of your state population? Do you even know what half the things on this list are? Some of them are pretty standard (feet, facesitting, etc), but some of them might shock you.

For example, did you know that there’s big money to be made if you’re a farting OnlyFans creator? Per Clips4Sale spokesperson Avery Martin, “Farting has become huge money in the US. In addition to being the most searched for fetish in major states like New York and Virginia, it generates more income for fetish creators than almost anything else, aside from bondage. Over the past few years, its impact has steadily and stealthily spread.” Of course it spread stealthily, that’s what farts do.

Want to take a shot in the dark and guess which state is into chastity (being denied orgasm)? Says Avery Martin, “While people might not think of Florida as a bastion of chastity, this is chastity fetish, which is quite different — most often, it involves a man being denied orgasm by a powerful woman. Florida has long been one of the centers of kink and fetish in the US.” Florida man strikes again… and then has to wait.

And what about ball-busting? I’ve dated more than one dude who was into ball-busting, but to my knowledge, neither of my exes who enjoyed it wound up in politics. However, guess the fetish that reigns supreme in our nation’s capital? “Could there be a more appropriate fetish for Washington, DC than ballbusting? Politics is a high contact sport and politicians, it seems, have an almost limitless capacity for pain and humiliation.” I hear ya, Avery. In order to make in politics in that city, you’ve got to get off at least a little on pain and humiliation.

It’s not just New York, Virginia, Florida, and Washington D.C. that have favorite fetishes state-wide. Turns out that people all over these United States are into some freaky shit. We don’t have time to dive into the whole list, but let’s break down each of the top 10 fetishes. For science.

      1. Giantess – Step on me, mommy. Coming in hot at number one is people who like to feel like they’re very smol and their girl is very… not. Think roleplay in which the woman is made to look larger than life so that whether she’s sitting on someone, fucking them, or simply dominating her space, her partner in naughtiness has no choice but to bask in her very large shadow. It’s so popular that plenty of women are making a killing on Giantess OnlyFans.
      2. Wrestling – Sometimes you just wanna be overpowered. People with a wrestling fetish are really into grappling, holds, or the idea of being overpowered. If you or your partner has a wrestling fetish, you might consider going to a live wrestling show to set the mood. Just be aware that you’ve got to keep your actions PG until you’re back in the privacy of your own home (or a rented hotel room. That works too).
      3. Tickling – It’s just the right amount of silly. If you have a tickling fetish, it likely appeals to you for a variety of reasons. The physical sensation of a feather-light touch on sensitive places, the lack of control when being tickled, the way the dominant/submissive relationship takes a turn for the playful, the sense of vulnerability and trust required to engage in tickling safely. Whatever the reason, if you or your partner has a thing for tickling, make sure you’ve got a feather tickler handy.
      4. Vore – This one actually ties back to America’s number one fetish! Vore is when someone gets all hot and bothered at the idea of being eaten whole, or watching someone else be eaten whole. This one is (obviously) not exactly feasible irl, so it’s all about the fantasy of being swallowed whole and then being safely alive in the belly of the giantess who swallowed. Plenty of giantess OnlyFans creators actually specialize in creating vore content.
      5. Ballbusting – This one is exactly what it sounds like. People with a ballbusting (or BB) fetish find it sexually arousing to have their testicles hit, squeezed, kicked, or otherwise stimulated. Given that this one involves physically striking a vulnerable zone, make sure you communicate very clearly what you do and do not want happening if you’re going to be incorporating ballbusting into your sexual activities.
      6. Diaper – This one is exactly what it sounds like. Generally speaking, diaper fetishists fall into one of two categories. One is that of a diaper lover, someone who enjoys wearing diapers or seeing a consenting partner wearing a diaper. The other is that of adult baby, which is when someone enjoys roleplaying as a baby or toddler, someone who needs extensive caretaking.
      7. Fart – Another one that is exactly what it sounds like. People with a fart fetish find sexual gratification from the sound, smell, act, or just the mere idea of passing gas. Personal suggestion: if your special someone has a fart fetish? Give them a fart in a jar for Valentine’s Day. So they can save it for a rainy day.
      8. Wedgie – Who would’ve thought that enough people enjoy wedgies enough for them to make this list? The fine people of South Dakota, at any rate, know how to turn a wedgie into a good time. People with a wedgie fetish enjoy giving, receiving, or watching someone get a wedgie.
      9. Facesitting – And the booktok girlies say “duh.” Facesitting involves… well. Sitting on faces. Women sit on a partner’s face, and said partner goes to town on them until they’re well-satisfied, and everyone is feeling messier than they were when they began.
      10. Pantyhose – She’s got legs, and she knows how to use them. Someone with a pantyhose fetish is sexually aroused by the sight of someone in classic pantyhose. Yup, those sheer nylon tights that you put on when it’s your turn to take grandma to church? Those.

There are plenty of other fetishes to explore on the list. Socks, vampires (looking at you, Louisiana), and who knew that CPR was searched enough to earn its own category? One thing is for sure: regardless of where you call home in this country, people around you aren’t afraid to get a little freaky.

  • UK Primary School Teacher Ousted Over Granny OnlyFans

UK Primary School Teacher Ousted Over Granny OnlyFans

Whelp, another teacher lost her job over OnlyFans, but this situation’s a little… different. This time around, the teacher people were getting hot for was a part of the granny niche on OnlyFans, creating sexually charged content centered around her being older than your average content creator on the adults-only platform. While she was most definitely a consenting adult at least 3 times over, the primary school she taught at didn’t so much like that she was going from shaping young minds in the classroom to blowing everyone’s mind in the bedroom when she clocked out.

Basically, here’s what happened. Lyndi Corston was a teacher at the Rye Community Primary School in East Sussex. She was also creating and sharing content on her OnlyFans page in her private time off the clock. However. Apparently another teacher got an OnlyFans notice on their phone one day, and the creator featured in the content on the other end of the notice? Corston. And because apparently the teacher who clicked on the notice had never heard the phrase “snitches get stitches,” they went to admin. The agency that Corston taught through (Engage Education) decided that while teachers do have a right to a private life… Corston’s activities on OnlyFans were at risk of marring the image of the teaching profession.

At 61, Lyndi Corston is more than capable of making her own decisions. One of those decisions was to become a teacher, a position that required her to sign a contract stating that she would agree to meet certain professional standards in order to successfully execute the running of a classroom. Another of her decisions was deciding to create an OnlyFans page where she would create and share sexually explicit “granny” content from behind the safety of a paywall. All teachers have private lives outside of school, and Lyndi Corston is no exception.

Currently, Corston is under a permanent ban from teaching, though she can file to have her case reevaluated in 2028, so the ban is less permanent and more of a “go sit in time out until we feel like you’ve learned your lesson.” According to the Teaching Regulation Agency, Cornson’s actions on OnlyFans wasn’t technically against her contract, but because she was sharing “granny schoolteacher” content, the TRA had concerns that her actions could negatively influence students, or damage trust in the profession of teaching.

And this is the part of the story where I remind everyone that OnlyFans is paywall protected, and users must past age verification in order to log in— especially in the UK, where the age verification process is stricter than most. If people are seeing naked pictures of someone on OnlyFans, it’s because they have paid money to do so, and I think that’s what’s really grinding my gears about this story. Teachers are allowed to have private lives, and they’re allowed to have side-hustles outside of their teaching jobs. What Corston was doing was work that is in demand, because yes. There is absolutely a demand for granny OnlyFans content, so why is Corston being punished for someone else paying up to see what was behind her paywall? There is also the issue of teachers in the UK facing many of the same hurdles that teachers in the US are facing. Being overworked and underpaid with an ample dose of unpaid overtime results in teachers— especially teachers who are 55 and older who are getting increasingly aware of their need to save for retirement— to look for side-hustles where they can work outside of teaching hours. Given that OnlyFans allows creators to set their own rates, schedules, and expectations, it makes sense that it’s a natural fit for teachers who are struggling to make ends meet.

Are teachers held to a higher standard than most other humans? Yes. However, if Corston isn’t allowed to have an OnlyFans, but was outed to her employer by another teacher who looked at that OnlyFans, why is the only person facing consequences the person who makes money consensually creating the content, and not the people who went poking around to see what exactly she was creating on a platform that is fully legal for adults like Corston to utilize? Also, if the Teaching Regulation Agency doesn’t want teachers to turn to OnlyFans, maybe they should consider paying them more? Just an idea on some practical ways to avoid punishing teachers for what they do in their private time in the future.
