Glenn in the Glen

Goose and Maverick will be there, too

You've seen Top Gun, what, like 400 times? You obviously really enjoy the movie, but you've noticed that something has been missing the last few times you've watched it. Wait a minute — could it be? Oh no, it's true: You've lost that lovin' feeling. Get back some of the magic tonight at Laumeier Sculpture Park (12580 Rott Road, Sunset Hills; 314-821-1209 or www.laumeier.org). The park screens Top Gun outdoors beginning at 8:30 p.m., and while that's cool, it's not enough to reinvigorate your love — that's what Charles Glenn (pictured) is there for. This smooth singing machine starts your night off at 7 p.m. with a concert of much-loved songs. That oughta get you in the mood! So pack a picnic (no glass allowed), grab your lawn chair, and head out to the park. The night just might take your breath away (but not your money — admission is free).
