A Room Divided depicts life in pre-Civil War St. Louis, where slave owners and anti-slavery sympathizers lived side by side, and both slaves and free African-Americans resided. Learn about this dark (but progressive) time in St. Louis' past through this recreational, interactive exhibit Wednesday through Sunday until Sunday, December 30, at the Eugene Field House and Saint Louis Toy Museum (634 South Broadway; 314-421-4689 or www.eugenefieldhouse.org).
