St. Louis' First Real Snow of the Winter Sure Is Pretty [PHOTOS]

After a winter that's been full of fakeouts and unusually warm temperatures, St. Louis finally got its first real snowfall of the season today — and while it's going to make that commute home a pain in the neck, it sure looks pretty.
About that commute ... the Missouri Department of Transportation says roads are snarled around the metro area and to adjust accordingly. A number of semi-trucks have spun out on I-70, and The National Weather Service says that numerous accidents have been reported — and to avoid travel unless "absolutely necessary."
Oh, and the National Weather Service also confirms that "thundersnow" was observed in south city. That's basically a thunderstorm where snow falls instead of rain.
So be careful out there. Maybe stay where you are, take a nice deep breath and enjoy some photos of the scene, all captured by the RFT's Zachary Linhares.
