Perhaps you're a fan of a certain long-running variety program that originates from a mythical Minnesota town. You know the one. Perhaps as you listen to the host's stentorian voice tell you of the latest doings, your mind drifts to an odd place and you wonder what these stoic Scandinavian-Americans look like in a pair of panties. Wonder no more. The Randy Dandies burlesque troupe presents A Pastie Home Companion, hosted by Garrison Feeler. Yes, here in Lake Bra-be-gone, there will be songs and stories and the gradual exposure of bodies by noted performers Shimmy Dean and Boob Evans. And of course there are sponsors: Four Roses Bourbon helps underwrite the show and provides an on-site bourbon tasting. It all takes place today at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Sasha's on Shaw (4069 Shaw Avenue). Admission is $45, and includes one mimosa, brunch and the bourbon tasting.
