Bandana's

St. Louisans know beer and baseball. And if there's a third "b" in that group, it's barbecue. Our reader's choice when it comes to barbecued pork, beef, and chicken is Bandana's (guess that makes it four "b's"). The family-owned chain has locations throughout the area, so there's bound to be one near you. They all boast tasty Southern-style barbecue that is cooked ever-so-slowly in wood pit smokers - they do pork, beef, and chicken - after being doused with Bandana's own, special dry rub. Their sauces are enough to make men weep (well, at least that's the case with the hot sauce). But their other varieties are good enough to at least make you tear up a little.
