Comedian Mo Rocca Attempts to Explain My Plate

Who better to teach America about the new My Plate healthy-eating guide than former Daily Show correspondent Mo Rocca? And since when did the CBS Evening News become so hip? Or is Mo Rocca no longer hip?

This is more confusing than the 2005 food-guide pyramid revamp, or as Rocca called it, "an Egyptian gay-rights symbol."

Nutrition expert Marion Nestle played along, although she didn't seem too thrilled about the outcome:

Not sure what to make of this. I'm interviewed by the irreverent Mo Rocca. http://bit.ly/mttxy4less than a minute ago via TweetDeck Favorite Retweet Reply

She's hoping for a big fat food trapezoid in the future. She also suggests that Rocca add some fruits and vegetables into his diet of half meat, half dairy, because it'll do "great things for your health."

In other words, you'll poop more than twice a year, Mo.

He also consults with real, live, hookah-smoking Egyptians.

Long story short? Geometry's hard.
