George Mahe has the unfortunate news at Feast: The casual Italian restaurant Two Nice Guys and its upscale dining room, Trattoria Two, have closed. A note from owner and chef Chris Kramer (pictured right) says the Kirkwood restaurant couldn't continue "one more day" given the current economy.

I liked Trattoria Two quite a bit when I reviewed it in late 2006. Best of luck to the Kramers and the rest of the Two Nice Guys/Trattoria Two staff in the future.
