Classes are now forming for another grueling semester of oenology at the Wine Merchant's Clayton location (20 S. Hanley Rd.). Here are a few listings from the winter catalog:

Intro to Wine (Jan. 3, $20)

Red Wines of Italy (Jan. 8 and 10, $30)

Southern French Wines (Feb. 5 and 7, $15)

Wine and Cheese Pairing (Feb. 26 and 28, $35)

Call the registrar at 314-863-6282. Each class meets for one evening, from 6:30-9:30, and tuition must be paid in advance to confirm a seat. Sorry, no refunds if you drop the course -- but for some reason, attendance has been remarkable.
