Meet the Chefs at the Magic Chef Mansion September 12 to Benefit the Landmarks Association

The Landmarks Association of St. Louis is honoring Joe Edwards, savior of the Loop, with the H. Meade Summers Jr. Award for lifetime achievement in historic preservation. The annual event involves meeting the chefs of several local restaurants along with a cooking demonstration, food, drinks and tours of the lovingly restored Magic Chef Mansion at 3100 Russell Boulevard.

Taste creations from Herbie's Vintage 72, Sameem Afghan, SubZero Vodka Bar, Joyia Tapas. Stella Artois, Pearl Vodka, Frostbite Ice Cream and Vino Gallery will also be on hand. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Magic Chef Mansion. Tickets are $75; proceeds benefit the Landmarks Association of St. Louis.
