The new "Spiked Bulleit Bourbon Burger" is nothing to sneeze at — and definitely nothing to contemplate ordering if you're a teetotaler. This baby has an all-beef patty, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon and crispy onion rings, all topped with a slather of bourbon-rich barbecue jam.

Here's the catch: They add the bourbon after the jam is finished on the stove, which means it doesn't cook off. And that means eating one of these burgers is sort of like doing a shot of vodka, only it ought to take a bit longer to digest it. The restaurant serving it, Bar Louie, is actually vowing to card anyone who orders it.

The burger is available starting this week at Bar Louie's four St. Louis locations in the Central West End, Kirkwood, Chesterfield and St. Charles. It's part of a special deal on Tuesdays, where you won't find out the price until you get there, but they promise it's "absurdly special" (a Bar Louie thing, apparently). Even on regular nights, it's just $12.49 — not bad for a burger and a shot of Bulleit, no?

St. Louis was introduced to boozy ice cream last year, and it's taken off in a big way since, with offerings at both Ices Plain & Fancy and Clementine's Creamery all but assured to knock you on your ass. So hey, who's to say this isn't part of an additional trend — boozy burgers?

And we've got one more question: Seeing this is Bar Louie, can they get started on some boozy tots next?
