If you've been dying to get in to Nixta (1621 Tower Grove Avenue, 314-899-9000), there's a new option for that — the hotter-than-hot Latin eatery plans to begin brunch on Sundays.

Best of all: It kicks off this very Sunday, with hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ben Poremba's Botanical Heights spot has won national acclaim, including being named the No. 9 new restaurant in America by Bon Appetit. The unfortunate byproduct of those honors, however, are that the place is now almost impossible to get into before 9 p.m. on the weekends. With this news, diners no longer have to stay up late to indulge — they can also just start eating a bit earlier.

As the restaurant explains in its press release,
Inspired by regional Mexican traditions, the menu showcases dishes like Chilaquiles, Huevos Motuleños, Molletes, and Churros. Since Sunday morning eating goes hand-in-hand with refreshing cocktails, a comprehensive drink menu launches as well with highlights including a Bloody Maria, Michelada, and a Tequila Sunrise made with Nixta’s own Código 1530 Single Barrel Tequila Rosa.
Reservations are recommended; check out its resy.com listing to make yours. Maybe for Sunday?
