Pizzeria Tivoli Now Open in Princeton Heights

Gut Check first reported on Pizzeria Tivoli in May. This weekend I received an email informing me that the restaurant is now open at 5861 South Kingshighway (the former home of Jasminka Homemade Cakes). Hours are 4-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 4-11 p.m. Saturday and 4-9 p.m. Sunday. The restaurant is closed on Monday, so if you're all geared up to try it after reading this blog post...you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

The email also included a scan of the menu, which features pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven, salads and a couple of appetizers. Pizzas include a classic Margherita, the "Bianca" (roasted garlic, ricotta, mozzarella and shaved Parmigiano) and the "Tivoli" (tomato, chicken, artichoke hearts, red pepper).
