Smoothie King Has a Sweet Deal for You on Opening Day

When you think of baseball food, you likely picture the typical ballpark cuisine: hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, beer. Surely you don't anticipate cheering the Cardinals on with a smoothie in hand. But there's a first time for everything.

This Sunday, all dozen Smoothie King locations in the St. Louis area will offer free smoothies in honor of the Cardinals' opening day (also known to some as the second Christmas of the year). From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., customers can get one 12-ounce Strawberry X-Treme smoothie, completely free.

That's not the only exciting news that comes with the beginning of baseball season, either. In addition to some can't-miss promotions planned for the season (Yadier Molina bobbleheads, anyone?), the Cardinals now have their very own food truck. Will we make it to the World Series this season? Who knows. But at this rate, it doesn't look like we'll be going hungry.
