Three for Three: 7.11-7.13

Gut Check recommends three ways you won't go hungry this weekend.

1. This week's Chefs at the Market cooking demo at the Soulard Farmers' Market (730 Carroll Street) features Gerard Craft of Niche. The 2008 Food & Wine Best New Chef will present his free cooking lesson at 10 a.m. Saturday in the market's courtyard.

Two more suggestions after the jump...

2. This weekend is the World's Largest Catsup Bottle Festival in Collinsville, Illinois. Celebrate the condiment from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Call 618-344-8775 for more information.

3. Last year I reviewed the food at GCS Ballpark, home of the Gateway Grizzlies and the infamous Baseball's Best Burger. What's new this year? Discover for yourself: The Grizzlies are home this weekend.

That's it for this week. Next week: I develop a fondness for quack.

Have a great weekend. Eat something good.
