Evan S. Benn of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that chef Clara Moore is leaving St. Louis and her position as executive chef of Local Harvest's three cafes. Moore plans to move to Seattle.

According to Benn, Local Harvest owners Patrick Horine and Maddie Earnest have hired three new chefs at all three locations. Hillary Birtley will helm the Tower Grove (3137 Morganford Road; 314-772-8815) location, where she's been chef de cuisine for three years, John McCarthy will head-up the downtown location (815 Olive Street; 314-241-3196), where he's been chef de cuisine since June. Angela Komis will take over Local Harvest's newest location in Kirkwood, which opened in October (12309 Old Big Bend Road; 314-966-6566).

Meanwhile, St. Louis Magazine's George Mahe reports that Salt (4356 Lindell Boulevard; 314-932-5787) executive chef Josh Roland, who replaced Wes Johnson in April, has left the restaurant. Mahe says Roland left almost a month ago, but his departure only became public knowledge this week. He's been replaced by Salt sous chef Brad Hoffmann.

In October, Gut Check reported that Salt's landlord, Ta Daa LLC, filed for eviction, and in November, that the restaurant's corporate entity, American Larder LLC, filed for bankruptcy.
