- Oceano Bistro (44 North Brentwood Boulevard, Clayton; 314-721-9400) has opened its second location at 16125 Chesterfield Parkway West, the Chesterfield address previously occupied by Andria's Steakhouse. - George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine reports that Pete Ferretti and Buddy Coy, the team behind such ventures as Mandarin Lounge (44 Maryland Plaza; 314-367-4447) and the Pepper Lounge (2005 Locust Street; 314-241-2005), are opening a new venture called Circle 7 Ranch Taphouse & Grill.
Circle 7 will be located at 14412 Clayton Road in Ballwin, in the same development as the soon-to-open spinoff of Trattoria Marcella (3600 Watson Road; 314-352-7706), Marcella's Mia Sorella. The restaurant's Facebook page offers this description:
Circle 7 Ranch is a new bar, with a "reclaimed soul." The food is as unique as the draft devices. With homemade recipes, signature dishes, clever appetizers, fresh salads, hearty soups, delicious sandwiches and burgers, the menu will treat modern patrons in a manner, which makes them feel welcome and comfortable.
The restaurant will also feature several tables that each has its own three-beer taps. Look for a September opening.
