Whole Foods Maintains Organic Coffee Integrity, Right Down to the Grinder

Whole Foods has always led the way in organic integrity, but a visit to its Brentwood location this morning made us question if perhaps Whole Foods thinks some people might be taking it too far.

Take a look at the sign posted on the complimentary coffee grinders:

Don't like it? Buy your own damn grinder. - Robin Wheeler

Don't like it? Buy your own damn grinder.

Translation:

"If you're going to throw a hissy fit because a half a teaspoon of someone's conventional coffee grounds might come into contact with your pound of precious organic ones, get your own damn grinder and leave us alone."

Granted, Whole Foods' method of conveying this message is much nicer than ours.

If there's a sign, chances are enough people complained about the lack of 100 percent pure organic integrity because of coffee dust in a public grinder to merit a message.

To those people we say: Have some integrity. Buy your own fucking grinder. Quit bothering the employees. And, perhaps, consider laying off the caffeine.
