More like, awake at 1am and rambling about weird dreams with cats and haunted hairbrushes and you have no idea if she’s kidding. She doesn't act, she just seems slightly puzzled anyone’s even watching. That, to me, is what turns the whole thing different. Makes the whole goth thing less of a costume and more like, you know, this is just her and maybe she’s got one scuffed boot stuck in cartoon land.

The thing is, Vlada proves you don’t have to pick between silly and sexy, gloomy and sweet. She’ll pull you in with creepy-cute selfies and then blindside you with a sulky little smile, like she’s letting you in on something not quite everyone gets. You scroll and suddenly wonder why more people don’t mix lace, sarcasm, and Gengar plushies. Everybody in the goth category shows skin. Not everybody brings you into their private carnival of odd moments and mood swings. She does, and that’s rare as hell, trust me.
