Fountain Lake Skatepark

This isn’t the sort of place you’re likely to ride to (unless you live in one of the nearby suburban subdivisions) but the skatepark is clean, free, unsupervised and relatively unpopulated. A place surrounded by farm fields and a wildlife park isn’t where you’d expect to find a 13,000 square-foot skatepark but lo and behold, there it is. The concrete facility features a few rails, funboxes and a good-sized bowl. If you make it past the “locals only” graffiti just inside the gate, you can skate the park from 10:00 a.m. until dusk, year-round.
