The Dry Dock Tavern

A favorite of its Lemay Ferry neighborhood, the Dry Dock Tavern makes customers feel like they're in a friend's comfortable man cave. There are no daily specials to draw in crowds, but the reasonable prices and friendly, straightforward service are constants. The entire room is covered in dark-stained wood, including the bar, bar back, tables, walls and ceiling. Though small, the space is not overpowered by neon or signage; the few decorations are related to sports (every one of the basics is represented), Anheuser-Busch or scantily clad Budweiser babes. The bar only carries two taps, Bud and Bud Light, but there are several microbrews in bottles and an expansive selection of trendy flavored vodkas. Patrons can partake in pizza-and-wings night on Tuesdays or bring their own food. There is no kitchen, but the tavern is happy to provide paper plates and napkins.
