Steve Perry Surfaces -- Singing Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" at a Baseball Game!

Although current Journey vocalist Arnel Pineda is a talented, dynamic singer, many fans of the band still long for the days when Steve Perry was at the helm. With his unstoppable mullet and dazzling range, the singer put an indelible mark on hits such as "Any Way You Want It" and "Open Arms." Perry's been gone from the band since 1998, and in recent years he's been keeping a low profile -- at least until Game 5 of the National League Championship Series in San Francisco, that is.

While Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" started booming over the soundsystem during the game, an astute fan caught Steve Perry in the audience, singing along to the song and having a grand ol' time. Perry's a big Giants fan, of course -- Journey formed in San Franciso -- and, it seems, a fan of the sport in general. According to an interview conducted in the past few years, he tagged along with the Chicago White Sox during their 2005 World Series run after they adopted "Don't Stop Believin'" as a theme. Watch the San Francisco video below; Perry's exuberance starts at about :45.
