Trashcan Sinatras, Rural Alberta Advantage Returning to St. Louis

March is always good to St. Louis. If it's not bands coming from SXSW, it's bands going to SXSW -- if not just general spring thaw. The latter seems to be bringing Scotland's Trashcan Sinatras back to St. Louis. According to the band's website, it'll be playing acoustically at the Firebird on Thursday, March 24. Tickets are $15. The Trashcan Sinatras played at the same place in August 2009, to a great crowd.

Also returning to town for the first time in awhile is the Rural Alberta Advantage. The Canadian trio last played in St. Louis in December 2009 at Off Broadway (and before that, at the Billiken Club). This time, it'll be at the Firebird on April 22. Tickets are $10 to $12.
