The New Clementine's in the Central West End Is an Ice Cream Paradise

Clementine's is now open in the Central West End.
Clementine's Naughty & Nice Creamery is cozy and charming, and it's a normal to find a line of customers snaking far out the original location's doors on any warm evening — even with multiple branches of the gourmet ice cream shop now open across Missouri and Illinois.

But the seventh — and latest — Clementine's to open is more than big enough to accommodate a crowd of ice-cream fiending St. Louisans. The Central West End location at 305 North Euclid, opened shop officially at noon yesterday.

Large windows open into a space that balances a plethora of vintage-feeling elements such as exposed brick and pressed-tin ceilings with a gleaming white counter and a retro-but-trendy chalkboard menu. The walls are painted a light green blue and hold a selection of artwork. Around the sides of the shop is plenty of seating, including a few tables set in nooks for a private feel.

This location also holds a rack of Clementine's goods like T-shirts and ice cream toppers. There is also a freezer full of pints ready to be taken home.

If you've been to a Clementine's, you're familiar with the menu here. Like other locations, it is separated in nice (milk based), naughty (involve alcohol) and vegan. The flavors are creative and sometimes locally-themed, like a gooey butter cake flavor that includes chunks of the cake throughout or Missouri Mud, which is chocolate with peanut butter and dark chocolate caramel candies.

Clementine's continually adds new flavors to its menu. Earlier this year, the company introduced chamomile mint & honeydew sorbet; Peanut Butter Pleasures, which is salty peanut butter ganache mixed in with super dark chocolate ice cream; espresso martini made with coffee liquor; and Carrie's Cosmo, which features cranberry sauce, triple sec, lime juice and vodka.
