Ahead of the Curve

Sidewalks are the perfect territory for tricycle rides, puppy walks and colored-chalk declarations of BFF-ness. What's more, sidewalks are the ideal place to meet neighbors and enjoy conversation on a beautiful spring night. Embrace all that these paved pathways have to offer at tonight's Crescent Plaza Sidewalk Soiree. With its shops, restaurants, offices and luxurious residences, Crescent Plaza (corner of Carondelet Plaza and Hanley Road, Clayton) is fast becoming one of the area's must-visit neighborhoods. Tonight's get-together offers entertainment by the Fabulous Motown Revue, complimentary appetizers and signature drinks by Crescent Plaza eateries (including Araka, Luciano's and Kaldi's) and the unveiling of the Midwest's first Gerard Tsutakawa sculpture, Uzumaki Curve. The gorgeous sculpture, which takes its title from the Japanese word for "community," will be unveiled by Tsutakawa himself. Stop by the Sidewalk Soiree this evening between 5 and 8 p.m., and see all that Crescent Plaza has to offer. There's no charge to attend the event; beer and wine are available for purchase.
