Outdoor concert series provide the best season barometer in other words, summer isn't over until we have to enjoy our music inside. So good news: There are still two shows left in the Twilight Tuesdays series, held outdoors at the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue; 314-454-3150 or www.mohistory.org). On Tuesday, October 3, the Black Rep performs songs from its singing-sensation Dreamgirls, a musical that the theater company presented earlier this summer (and that is being made into a movie starring Beyoncé Knowles and Jamie Foxx). Next week (Tuesday, October 10), Boogie Chyld helps you dance your last summer night away it'll be sad when the party is over, but at least you'll have gone out shakin' it. Like all concert series should be, Twilight Tuesdays are free, and the shows run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
