Cinco on the Ocho?

How many drinks made in a pineapple have you had this year? No matter what your answer, you have not had enough. You're forgiven, though, because Cherokee Street is home to St. Louis' Cinco de Mayo festivities again this year, and yes, they have those delectably indulgent pineapple drinks (so you can make up for lost time). Not only that, but you can score plenty of delicious and authentic food every five feet while you watch the extravagant People's Joy parade, starting at 1:11 p.m. The Cinco main stage and the Love-O-Rama Gringo stage are set for live music all day long, and the Luchador Collab-o-mask, a live art collaboration involving Mexican wrestlers' masks, takes place between Iowa and California avenues. All this and more from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, but bring plenty of cash for drinks and snacks.
