Cook, Line and Sinker

If you’ve seen Dane Cook in movies such as Employee of the Month and Good Luck Chuck, you know what kind of humor to expect when the stand-up comedian/actor/musician takes the stage at the Scottrade Center (South 14th Street and Clark Avenue; www.scottradecenter.com). As always, this native Boston boy will appear wholesome on the outside with his puppy-dog eyes, messy bed head and toothy grin, but then his mouth will open to expel foul-mouthed jests sure to make his fans snort in amusement and throw up his signature SU-FI (SUperFInger) sign. Tickets for Dane Cook’s Rough Around the Edges Tour range from $30 to $100; you can purchase tickets through the Scottrade Center box office or Ticketmaster (314-241-1888 or www.ticketmaster.com). Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m.
