Union Avenue Opera starts its 21st season with Mozart's classic comic opera, Don Giovanni
. Written in 1787, the opera cemented Mozart's standing as a rock star of his era. Set in Seville, Don Giovanni
tells the story a promiscuous cad who abuses and manipulates those around him at every turn. By the time the second act arrives, the salacious nobleman is up to his neck in complications as a lifetime of skirt-chasing and seduction finally catches up with him. Don Giovanni
