Theatrical juggernaut Jersey Boys returns for another run at the Fox Theatre (527 North Grand Boulevard; 314-534-1111 or www.fabulousfox.com), proving that nothing sells like rise from obscurity followed by a return to obscurity, capped off by a late resurgence. Jersey Boys is the true story of the Four Seasons, four regular guys from New Jersey who wrote their own songs, played their own instruments and racked up hit after hit. Oddly enough, even when the Four Seasons were selling millions of records, the members of the group were still rather unknown; they weren't hip enough to roll with the Beatles and they weren't edgy enough to rock with the Stones. And yet, who doesn't know "Sherry," or "Walk Like a Man" or "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"? Hits, all of 'em. Jersey Boys is performed Tuesday through Sunday (February 19 through March 2). Tickets are $30 to $130.
Tuesdays-Fridays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sundays, 1 & 6:30 p.m. Starts: Feb. 19. Continues through March 2, 2014
