Reading is Sexy

Pornography is the final moral frontier. One one side, you have the absolute squares, on the other, the staunch freaks -- but most of us fall into the middle, where we're aware of the shame in watching augmented daughters and well-endowed sons getting busy but are self-aware enough to admit that it's fun to watch naked folks doing their thing. Robert Rosen, a longtime behind-the-scenes player for nudie mags like High Society and D Cup takes us for a stroll down Beaver Street with his provocative tell-all memoir. Rosen will discuss and sign copies of Beaver Street: A History of Modern Pornography at Left Bank Books (399 North Euclid Avenue; 314-367-6731 or www.left-bank.com) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4. Admission is free, and closed minds are best left at home.
