Right Now, In a Town Not So Far Away...

Every Friday after you get off work, you do the exact same thing: change into your Jedi gear, pull out your lightsaber and begin watching the entire Star Wars series from start to finish. (It's sad really when you know Jabba's lines better than the flabby Hutt himself.) Sometimes, if you blur your eyes enough, you even think you're in the films, using your "force" to fight the good fight (unfortunately, your "force" is more of an "indigestion situation," but that's neither here nor there). Now, we can't argue with the way you want to spend your time, but wouldn't it be nice to get out of the house for once — and still celebrate Star Wars? Maybe you would like to walk among other fans as a real Jedi guides you through interactive scenes from the movies? That's what we thought. So here's the deal: The Star Wars Experience! opens Friday, October 27, at 7 p.m. and continues every night through Tuesday, October 31. The family-friendly haunted house is located at 47 Four Winds Drive in St. Peters (call 636-219-8285 or visit www.atchisonpromotions.com for directions), admission costs $2.50 to $5, and proceeds benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.
