As the beings at the top of the food chain, with language, law, the biggest brains, etcetera, we humans tend to dwell on ourselves a bit too much. Ask most folks their definition of "high drama" and they'll restrict it to the trials and tribulations of people -- exclusively. What about the drama inherent in the lives of our nonhuman fellow beings? Nature is rife with it; take the Monarch butterfly as an example. The Monarch weighs less than a penny and undertakes one of the longest migrations on earth -- and it has never been to its ultimate destination until it arrives there the first, and last, time. It's an incredible creature with an equally incredible story. The documentary charts the story of one scientist's 40-year search for the secrets of the Monarch, from beginning to end.
