If you're lucky, you're off work today, so celebrate your good fortune! But not with drink or food — no, you'll have more than enough of both in the next week or so. Instead, you should commemorate the office-free occasion by feasting your eyes on a variety of artworks at the Bruno David Gallery (3721 Washington Boulevard; www.brunodavidgallery.com or 314-531-3030). The art space is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, so that'll give you ample time to check out Thomas Sleet's mixed-media sculptural paintings (one of which is pictured), selected prints from Island Press (including works by Chakaia Booker, Juan Sanchez and others), German artist Ingo Baumgarten's small paintings and the video art of Ella Gant. Admission to the Bruno David Gallery is free, and the exhibits remain up through Saturday, January 12.
Wednesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Dec. 7. Continues through Jan. 12, 2007
