Buckle your experiential seat belt, slick back your hair, turn off that cell and get your hot sweaty self ready for a different kind of big top. The Universoul Circus hits St. Louis with a bang this week. This isn't your granddad's circus; rather, Universoul bills itself as the most interactive circus in the world, incorporating circus arts, theater and music to provide a thrilling new hybrid alternative to the more predictable stuff. The company trawls talent pools from around the world searching for just the right acts. The current tour includes the acrobatic arts of the African Dream, fire performers Color Me Caribbean and motorcycle derring-do in the Globe of Death. Performances take place Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, August 2 (no shows on Monday), at Jamestown Mall (Lindbergh and Old Jamestown Road, Florissant; 314-534-1111 or www.universoulcircus.com). Tickets are $20 to $45.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: July 23. Continues through Aug. 2, 2015
