Your Drunk Ass Can Get a Free Lyft Home From Dogtown's St. Patrick's Day Party

Though organizers have been attempting to make it a more family-friendly (read: less drunk) event these past few years by giving the parade an earlier start time, drinkers gonna drink at the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Dogtown this Sunday.

And who wouldn’t want to drink at this event? You practically have to because that moron Bob McCulloch is going to be the grand marshal. Who wants to be sober when his dumbass rolls down Tamm Avenue?

Let’s be real, you were going to drink a delicious bottle of Jameson, anyway. And if you’re going to drink, you shouldn’t be driving. Ever. So Major Brands, Lyft and Jameson Irish Whiskey are hooking up 2,000 St. Patrick’s Day parade partiers with a safe and free ride home.

Lyft is even setting up Wi-Fi hotspots at two designated ride pickup and drop-off areas near the parade path to make it easier for attendees to book their free ride home and meet their drivers. The areas will be located at the corner of Clayton Avenue and Graham Street, and along the north edge of the Dogtown neighborhood on Oakland Avenue.

Major Brands will post the code that you need to get the rides on its Facebook and Instagram pages this Saturday, so follow those for updates. Codes will be redeemable between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on March 17, 2019.

Tóg go bog é, you blathered beauties!
