The provocative work of Santiago Sierra addresses the topic of social inequities. With this multipart installation, Sierra employs art as direct evidence of environmental degradation, creating a visualization of the toxicity of contemporary urban life. Composed of 52 canvases sequentially exposed to urban pollution, the work references the increased presence of airborne contaminants both locally and worldwide. The Museum is open Monday, Wednesday–Sunday, 11 am–5 pm.
