10 Veterans Day Food Freebies and Specials Happening Today

Yep, yesterday was Veterans Day. Many restaurants offered food freebies and specials to celebrate this national holiday, and a few are today, too.

Members of the military can score a meal special at these ten restaurants by brandishing any of the following forms of ID: Active, former or retired military ID card, veterans affairs cards or discharge papers.

Denny's Free all-you-can-eat pancakes at Denny's (multiple locations) from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for dine-in only customers.

Golden Corral From 4 to 9 p.m., Golden Corral (multiple locations) buffet restaurant is offering free dinner.

Hooters Hooters (multiple locations) restaurants are offering ten free boneless wings with the purchase of one drink to all veterans.

Outback Steakhouse As part of a weeklong Veterans Day celebration, Outback Steakhouse (multiple locations) is serving a free "Bloomin' Onion" and a Coca-Cola beverage to veterans.

California Pizza Kitchen Veterans hungry for a free pizza and drink can venture to California Pizza Kitchen (multiple locations).

Lone Star Steakhouse Whether its lunch or dinner, vets receive a free entree at Lone Star Steakhouse (multiple locations) today.

Red Robin Today veterans get a free "Red's Tavern Double Burger" at Red Robin (multiple locations). The burger wedges two burger patties topped with melted American cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato and Red's Secret Tavern Sauce on a toasted sesame bun.

Sweet Tomatoes Veterans should bring a non-military friend to Sweet Tomatoes (multiple locations), as it's offering free meals to veterans today with the purchase of another regular priced meal.

Texas Roadhouse Lunch comes courtesy of Texas Roadhouse (multiple locations) today for veterans. The restaurant is offering ten of its entrees for free, as well as select sodas and teas. Many of the entrees come with either two sides or fries, excluding main course salads.

T.G.I. Fridays Vets who head to T.G.I. Fridays (multiple locations) for lunch today between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. will be entitled to a free meal.
